Great Veteran actor and a member of the cast of the popular TV drama series, Village Headmaster, Femi Robinson, is dead.
Robinson, who acted the part of ‘headmaster’ in the rested soap, passed on in the early hours of Wednesday, May 20, 2015 in Lagos.
He was aged 75.
Although the immediate cause of the Thespian’s death was not known as of the time of filing this report, his sons, Seun and Wole, confirmed the death in their Facebook posts.
Besides, one of his young associates, simply identified as Mariam, confirmed the passage to our correspondent on the telephone.
Meanwhile, Robinson’s colleagues have started mourning him.
Describing the late actor as a good professional, Jab Adu, who played the role of a local dispenser (Bassey Okon) in the TV drama series, said, “Femi and I worked together on the set of the Village Headmaster for quite a number of years. He took over the role of headmaster after Ted Mukoro left. He brought his own style, which was different from that of Mukoro, into that role.”
