“Due to the current global health challenge occasioned by the
deadly Ebola disease, the Ogun State Ministry of Education,
Science and Technology has postponed the resumption date for all
public and private primary and secondary schools earlier
scheduled for September 15, 2014 to a date to be announced
later,” he said.

The Commissioner said the measure became necessary in line
with the Federal Ministry of Education’s directive that schools in
the country should put resumption for 2014/2015 on hold in order
to curb the spread of the deadly disease.
