As the Headies was going on, people jumped on the social media with dissatisfaction over winners of some categories. First of all, was Korede bello ‘s award for Best Pop single with his song ‘Godwin’ beating songs like Kiss Daniel’s ‘Woju’ and Wizkid ‘s ‘Ojuelegba’. Actually, that was not the problem. The real beef was the one uprising rap artiste, Ycee posted on his Instagram account, dissing Vector the viper of wack punchlines. See pic as below:

The rapper later deleted the picture. The question that struck fans online was “What did Vector do to him?” “Is ycee about to bury his career?” and lots more. See sample tweets:

Olamide was the ‘Kanye’ of the event. The YBNL soldier could not trap his anger within himself with disappointment that his Label mate LIl Kesh lost to Mavins golden boy, Reekado banks on the award category for Next Rated. He practically collected mic from Adekunle Gold when he was giving speech after he had won ‘Best alternative’ to dedicate Adekunle’s award to Lil Kesh as he referred to him as their “own” Next Rated. He did not stop there, he said “Well, this award is dedicated to Lil Kesh, he’s OUR Next Rated winner. Fuck that shit, every single was a fucking Hit, from Lyrical to shoki and efe joku….. Koni Da Fun anybody (It shall not be well with anybody)” . He smashed the microphone to the ground and threw off his cap. Having said that, the Leader of Mavins, Don Jazzy was bitterly displeased with the drama. Although olamide never mention any name, Don Jazzy later poured out his mind when he was presented the ‘Special Recognition’ awards.   See Video:

However, we thought it will end there but on the contrary Olamide took it to twitter to spit out his anger.
