No fewer than five persons were killed in the early hours of Friday in Fadan Karshi village of Southern Kaduna, Kaduna State. The five were killed by gunmen who stormed the town at about 5am, sources said.
Over 200 persons were killed in Southern Kaduna in June.
The Chairman of the Local Government Area, Emmanuel
Adamu Dan-Zaria, confirmed the incident.
Dan-Zaria said he and other leaders of the area as well as
residents are in a confused state.
He described the attack as most unfortunate and unwarranted.
